Ammanuel Foxe has been a Rastafarian Activist for over 50 years. Ever since the
betrayal of His Imperial Majesty in 1974 by the forces of Europe and within the
confines of his own people.
Abuna (as he is commonly known and means Overseer) has been agitating for the
restoration of the Throne of Ethiopia to its rightful place.
Mr. Foxe is the head of the Church of Haile Selassie I, an institution sanctioned
and commissioned in 1961 by H.I.M. Ahma Selassie I and Abuna Lique Siltanat
Habte Mairiam Workneh in London, England. He is also the International
President of the Imperial Ethiopian World Federation, a political organization,
agitating for the Rights of all Rastafarians to worship His Imperial Majesty
Emperor Haile Selassie I as the Might of the Trinity, Almighty God, King of Kings,
Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah.
This is a significant honor as it is usually awarded only to Ethiopian Patriarchs, as
a rank within the Imperial enclave. The rank of Commander is equivalent to the
rank of Djezamatch, second only to Ras (Governor) and the Negus (King).
